congratulations that you found this site. You are absolutely right here and I like to welcome you .
What you have in mind is my intention, too.
If you need some ideas about getting a scooter roadable, feel free to visit the thread of mine in the "C and S" column in the Forum. Look for "S.D.C. ESPADA Reaktivierung", there i do a series of getting my own scooter ready for street. With pictures, how i do it.
By the way: may we see pictures of YOUR scooter? To get them uploaded in here, choose in the line above this text the fourth signet from the right side, that one that looks like SpongeBop a little bit. Get your mouse-arrow over the signs, until "Grafik einfügen" appears. Then klick on and choose "von einem Computer hochladen". Now, get the choosen data open and klick "Hochladen" (upload), which will take some time. You can get some text up or under the picture and than simply klick on "ANTWORTEN" to get finished. Than choose "Forum" in the headline again, go to your thread and you can see, what you got uploaded.
If you need some explanations to pictures or german written text, feel free to ask us for translation. Most of us can do some english-conversation, but belgique is a bigger problem, i think so...... .

Seems to be in a good condition, are there any big parts like motor e.t.c. missing? If not, i think you got a really treasure.
As this homepage was started in spring 2012, nobody could imagine, what a great collection of bumper-cars would grow within 3/4 year later.
We have contact with France and Italy, too. If you need some more details for your scooter, search for our member "gride" from France. Seems to be our Reverchon-Specialist.
In case, you can´t fix your bumper, that would mean 475 Euros here in Germany . If you have seen my S.D.C. thread already, you see: i need a bumper, too. Fortunately, except from paint-jobs and welding, i can do the other chassis-work all by myself. Today, i remanufactured the motor-bellhouse-mountings.

So,
if you think about the price-relations between the purchase of the scooter and the spare-bumper, you got a relation-rate 1,19/1.
If i would think about this, my hairs would stand up like Mount Everest..... my rate is 9,5/1......... The scooter was for free, because of the bad bumper. I only had to pay 50 for the motor. Sure, that was luck after months of searching and bad news between.
But you can´t think about money, it´s a hobby. You do it just for fun. And by the way: that new bumper will last a lifetime, if it gets maintenance with chalk/water cream. We can bequeath our scooters one day to our grand-Children, maybe....... (oh my god, am I really that old now?)

Yes the bumper is damaged in front, the rubber is cracked, 475€ woaw that is disastrous since I only paid 400€ for this scooter :/. Everything is still there, motor etc. I think I can repair the rubber with some sort or liquid rubber, the problem there is, that you will see a colour difference, but Im planning on repairing the cracked rubber, and then overcoating the complete bumper so the colour is the same.
