SOLI Standard Restauration

Hallo zusammen,

Im Januar 2024 habe ich ein Thema über die Restaurierung eines Ihle Cadillac eröffnet. Leider bin ich noch nicht dazu gekommen, da er noch nicht vollständig ist (unter anderem fehlt der Motor). Im Herbst 2024 habe ich aber noch ein neues Projekt gekauft: einen Soli Standard. Ich war schon lange auf der Suche nach diesem Modell, weil der Schausteller, bei dem ich früher oft geholfen habe, dieses Modell auf seiner Autoscooterbahn hatte. Ich habe viele Stunden in diese Autos verbracht.

Dieses Fahrzeug ist komplett, und mittlerweile habe ich bereits mit der Restaurierung begonnen.

Mit der Reinigung und Säuberung begonnen:

Die Reinigung und Säuberung ist inzwischen weit fortgeschritten, und nach und nach kann das Fahrgestell lackiert werden, wonach es Schritt für Schritt weiter aufgebaut werden kan.

Die Karosserie wurde geschliffen und grundiert. Bereit für den Lackauftrag.

Und habe dir bei der Gelegenheit auch gleich neue Aufkleber anfertigen lassen.

Ende letzten Jahres habe ich die benötigten Teile neu verchromen lassen. Als Nächstes passe ich die Metallteile am Chassis an, um die Passgenauigkeit zu prüfen. Danach wird die Karosserie lackiert. Ich habe mich noch nicht für den genauen Farbton entschieden aber wirt warscheinlich hellblau werden. Als Nächstes überprüfe ich die Passform der Metallteile. Danach werde ich wahrscheinlich verschiedene Farben versuchsweise testen.

Letzte Woche habe ich die Passgenauigkeit der Metallteile überprüft. Mit ein paar kleinen Anpassungen passte alles schnell. Als Nächstes wähle ich die Farbe. Ich hatte bereits eine Farbe ausgesucht und testweise aufgetragen, aber sie ist mir zu hell. Jetzt suche ich erst einmal eine passendere Farbe. Ich habe das in Erwägung gezogen, möchte aber bei den Farben aus dieser Zeit bleiben, wie du auf dem Foto oben sehen kannst. Ich würde gern ein Hellblau wählen, aber ich muss mich gedanklich über 30 Jahre zurückversetzen, um mir vorzustellen, wie diese Farbe damals aussah. Und das ist gar nicht so einfach…

Ich fahre demnächst zu einer Firma, die Autolacke herstellt. Mal sehen, ob ich dort etwas Passendes finde.
